Abstract
Many organisations are experiencing shifts in the way both clients and employees expect to work. This has been trending for some time, but has seen an acceleration over the last 18 months as responses to the global pandemic have started to normalise.
Through a panel discussion orchestrated by Chris Orson (Head of HSBC Ways of Working), HSBC Securities Services want to share how they are approaching this, looking at how new technology, organisational design and leadership culture are having an impact on how value is delivered to our clients.
Biography
Simon is a Director within HSBC Securities Services Technology and has responsibility for HSBC’s Digital and Data initiatives within Securities Services
Simon joined HSBC in 2014, and is responsible for leading numerous globally diverse engineering teams that are focused on building platforms, services and client accessed applications with a strong focus on the external cloud. Democratisation and self-service of technology are among Simon’s key passions.
Prior to his time with HSBC, Simon has worked in various financial services firms throughout his career, including Fidelity, Barclays Capital and Nomura
