Our businesses and the world they operate in are complex and chaotic. It can be tempting to try and avoid the complexity by applying rules that force things into a neat order, but these constrain our businesses, and our inevitable workarounds and exceptions introduce “accidental complexity”. In this talk I will discuss how to adopt an event driven mindset and move from accidental to essential complexity. We will explore Domain Driven Design, Event Storming and architecture patterns that give you pragmatic steps to make sense of the chaos
