Richard Garsthagen is the Director of Cloud Business Development for Oracle. He is responsible for positioning Oracle’s Cloud Computing services throughout Europe with a specialization in the IaaS Portfolio.

Richard runs a blog about the Oracle Cloud called www.oc-blog.com. Here he shares technical best practices, automation scripts and the latest news about the Oracle Cloud. He has also written an iPhone Application to manage the Oracle Cloud (OCI) that is published in the Apple App Store.

 

With over 20 years experience working for high tech companies including Citrix and VMware, Richard has gained an extensive knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud Computing Solutions available today.  His deep technical knowledge and enthusiasm for Cloud Computing enables him to clearly promote the Oracle Cloud Solutions to a broad audience daily.
