Sally Lait specialises in building strong engineering culture, and aims to create supportive and inclusive environments for people and teams to thrive and do fantastic technical work.

She’s currently Engineering Director at Bumble Inc., where she leads the Trust and Safety technology team to help grow kind, healthy, and equitable connections.

​

Her previous roles have included helping to change the way the world deals with death as VP of Engineering (plus IT & Data and Insights) at Farewill, prior to which she led Monzo’s web discipline and engineering across Operations and Financial Crime through hypergrowth. Other experience involves founding a digital transformation consultancy with clients including the Manor Racing F1 team and RNLI, and working as Head of Technology for a global digital agency.
